Apple Speculoos Crumble page 336

This was a very easy crumble.  The crumble is just 2 ingredients cookies and butter.  I did find the Lu BASTOGNE caramelized sugar and cinnamon.  I added some almonds and dried cranberries to the apple filling which is just apples and sugar.

Here is the crumble on it’s way to the oven.

Here it is after about an hour in the oven.

I was cooking chicken in the oven at the same time so it took longer to bake.

Here is the final results.  I served it with whipped cream, coffee and a very small glass of Calvados.  This was so easy to make and so delicious.  So doing this one again when I need a dessert that comes together quickly an alternative to clafoutis.
