This was so good. I did not have any poppy seeds so I have to make them again with the seeds. This is so good with a glass of cold milk. Christmas time is really the only time I bake cookies, unless it is suggested by my Dorie club.

    I like the size of yours, and those crispy edges. Funny you should mention the poppy seeds…I think I mismeasured as when I looked back at the recipe to see why mine were not really showing too much like everyone else’s, I think I must have put in 3 teaspoons or 3 tablespoons of poppy seeds instead of 1/3 cup. Oops…I’ll do better next time. Yours look delicious.
